Award to enhance NGOs credibility

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr Simon Collings, Chief Executive Officer of Resource Alliance, said the initiative was aimed at promoting best practices that ultimately increase the credibility of NGOs.
The awards would help NGOs enhance governance, accountability, transparency and resource mobilisation abilities.
“Indian NGOs suffer from weaknesses like lack of credibility and resources,” he said.
The Resource Alliance has tied up with Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation to organise the competition. The organisation would organise seminars in four regions, covering all the States, focussing on governance and resource mobilisation
