Climate Change Philanthropy Action Network
CCPAN’s vision is to build a series of powerful global alliances-for-change composed of individual, family, and corporate philanthropists focused around the issue of global warming. The initiative will bring together prominent families and individuals from around the world to affect concrete action to combat the real and urgent issue of climate change.
CCPAN seeks to promote initiatives through strategic philanthropy that create opportunities for concrete action by businesses, governments, NGOs, scientists and citizens to address global warming. It recognises the serious implications of climate change both to this generation and the next and it will support, disseminate and generate ideas and initiatives that have highly leveragable, substantial and sustainable impacts at the multinational, national and local levels.
