The Honorable Finance Minister, Shri. P. Chidambaram felicitated Goonj.. as the ‘NGO of the Year 2007’ at the annual India NGO Awards ceremony organized by the Foundation and The Resource Alliance in New Delhi on March 5th 2008.
India NGO Awards 2006
Gram Vikas and Pradan have been jointly awarded NGO of the Year 2006 at the first ever India NGO Award event. This is the only initiative in the country that rewards Indian NGOs for exceptional work with key criteria in the areas of good management, impact, and financial transparency.
