The Nabha Foundation

The Nabha Foundation, an affiliate of the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation, has been established in response to a felt need for a holistic pattern of development in Punjab. It seeks to bring together multiple stakeholders, the state and union governments, national and international development agencies, academic and research institutions and above all, the people on the ground, to engage in a creative dynamic of action. The Foundation is building on the philanthropic activities of the Khemka family and its roots in Nabha by taking up issues of integrated and sustainable rural development, infrastructure upgradation and heritage conservation in Nabha, Punjab.

Global Education and Leadership Foundation

Most leadership programmes are designed to target the youth at institutions of higher learning, adults or corporates. There is no structured, well designed programme that is currently available for schools. Keeping in mind that young learners are impressionable and carry their learnings from school through their lives, the Global Education and Leadership Foundation has initiated a School Leadership Programme, which aims to initiate in the young, a strong value system and a lifestyle based on moral strength.

The programme, which is integrated with the school curriculum, starts with building an awareness among the students. Thereafter, they are guided and trained through educational and extra curricular activities, so as to foster in them leadership qualities such as integrity, humility, faith, discipline, honour. Through sustained mentorship, the holistic Programme aims to nurture young learners and transform them into future agents of change.
